Every MacBook battery has an Apple-assigned part code that determines the correct OEM-grade cell to source. We use exact part-number matched cells for all M-series and Intel MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air 15" models. Genuine OEM battery cell codes — last-updated 2025–2026 model lineup.
Not sure which part code your MacBook uses? Share your MacBook’s serial number (engraved on the underside, or find it in Apple Menu → About This Mac) on WhatsApp — we confirm the exact battery code and availability in 5 minutes. WhatsApp 7702503336 →
Important warranty note: We are not Apple Authorized — for in-warranty MacBooks, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider. For out-of-warranty MacBooks, we save you 30–60% on the same OEM-quality parts, with a 30-day repair warranty and No Fix No Fee guarantee.
Different MacBook models charge differently — M1/M2 MacBook Pro 13″ uses USB-C only (no MagSafe); newer MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 14″/16″ add MagSafe 3 alongside Thunderbolt USB-C ports. Knowing which ports your model has determines exactly how we isolate a charging fault.
The MagSafe 3 connector has a small coil that magnetically locks the cable. If the coil is damaged from impact or corrosion, the magnetic connection fails even though the cable is fine. We test the coil resistance and replace the MagSafe board assembly if faulty.
A USB-C port that won’t charge but still transfers data points to a partial pin failure on the port itself. A port that fails both charging and data usually has broken solder joints. We rework the port at component level without replacing the whole logic board.
USB Power Delivery (PD) requires a handshake between charger and laptop before any charging current flows. If the USB-C controller IC on the MacBook’s logic board malfunctions, the handshake never completes and the MacBook shows “not charging” even with a genuine Apple charger. We diagnose the FUSB302 or CD3217 PD controller (chip-level) and replace if needed.
The SMC (System Management Controller — Apple’s power, fan, and thermal controller) sometimes enters a locked state after a logic board repair or power event, causing incorrect battery readings or refusing to charge. M-series Macs reset SMC differently from Intel models — we apply the correct reset procedure for your chip generation before escalating to hardware diagnosis.
The MagSafe 3 cable itself (braided or woven version) can develop internal wire breaks near the connector or the brick end. We test the cable with a known-good charger before condemning the MacBook port or board — cable faults account for roughly 30% of “MacBook not charging” calls we receive.
We trace the complete charging circuit: adapter → cable → port → PD IC → charge management IC → battery. Each node is tested separately so the repair targets exactly the faulty component, not a scatter-shot board replacement.
Intel and M-series MacBooks have fundamentally different hardware architectures that affect repairability. Here’s what our technicians diagnose before recommending any hardware work.
Intel-era MacBooks shipped with the T2 chip (Apple’s security co-processor). The T2 handles keyboard, touchpad, audio routing, and Touch Bar — meaning a T2 fault can silently break keyboard or audio even when the main logic board is healthy. Some board-level repairs on T2 machines require DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) recovery via Apple Configurator 2 to re-pair the T2. We handle this in-house.
On all M1, M2, M3, and M4 MacBooks, the SSD (storage) is soldered directly onto the logic board — it cannot be removed, swapped, or upgraded after purchase. RAM (unified memory) is also soldered inside the Apple Silicon package. This means storage upgrades are not possible; the correct storage size must be chosen at the time of purchase. If the logic board fails with a soldered SSD, board-level data recovery requires specialist tools.
When macOS Settings → Battery shows “Service Recommended”, it means the battery has degraded below Apple’s health threshold (typically below 80% maximum capacity) or exceeded its cycle count. This is a hardware indicator — no software update or calibration will clear it. Physical battery replacement is the only fix. On M1/M2/M3 MacBooks, battery replacement requires logic board disassembly; our technicians are trained on this procedure.
M-series MacBooks pair with the owner’s Apple ID at the T2 / Apple Silicon level. If a MacBook is Activation Locked, no hardware repair can bypass the lock — the original Apple ID credentials are required. We check for Activation Lock before accepting liquid-damaged boards for repair, to avoid wasted work on unrecoverable devices.
M-series MacBooks throttle CPU/GPU performance automatically when temperatures reach threshold. Throttle events show in Activity Monitor as dropped clock speeds. Before opening the machine, we confirm whether the cause is a dirty/blocked fan, dried thermal paste, or a macOS process pinning CPU. Many “slow MacBook” calls are solved by fan cleaning and re-paste without any board-level work.
We are not Apple Authorized — for in-warranty MacBooks, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider. For out-of-warranty MacBooks, we save you 30–60% on the same OEM-quality parts, with a 30-day repair warranty and No Fix No Fee guarantee. Our technicians train on MacBook disassembly and have serviced hundreds of M-series units since 2020.

Component-level diagnostics + Apple-compatible parts. Most repairs done in 1–2 hours.
100% satisfaction first. Then pay. 30-day warranty. No Fix, No Fee.
Apple authorised centres charge ₹40,000+ for a board swap and won’t come to your door. Local shops don’t do component-level. We’re the middle ground — done right, priced fair.
We replace the faulty IC, capacitor, or charging chip on T2/M-series logic boards. Saves you ₹15,000+ vs a full-board swap.

Act fast — every hour after a spill accelerates corrosion on the logic board.
Three urgency rules for any liquid spill: (1) power off immediately — do NOT plug in to “test if it works”; (2) turn the MacBook upside-down in a tent position on a clean towel; (3) bring it to us within 24–48 hours — corrosion accelerates after 72 hours and components that were recoverable become permanently shorted.
Our liquid damage process: full board removal → ultrasonic clean → microscope inspection of every IC → corrosion-affected components replaced or reballed → board reassembled and tested under load. We do not simply dry the board and call it done.
M1/M2/M3 logic boards are more recoverable than older Intel boards because Apple silicon SOC (system-on-chip — Apple’s all-in-one silicon package integrating CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, and memory) integrates I/O. However, the power-management IC (the chip that routes battery power to the rest of the board), battery FET (the transistor that controls battery-to-board current), and U-series chips around the battery rail are highly vulnerable to spill damage. These are the first components we inspect.
Honest success rate framing: approximately 80% of MacBooks brought within 24 hours of a liquid incident are recovered. That figure drops to approximately 50% if the MacBook has been sitting for a week while the owner tried “drying it in rice” — rice absorbs humidity but does nothing for active corrosion on the board.

Apple silicon MacBooks are more integrated than Intel predecessors — here is what that means for repair.
M-series boards consolidate CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, and memory into the SOC (system-on-chip — Apple’s all-in-one silicon package), which means RAM is not field-upgradable after purchase. If the SOC itself fails, the board is typically replaced. What we can repair at the component level are the peripheral ICs around the SOC.
Common M-series faults we handle: the Secure Enclave (the T2 successor on M1+ chips that manages battery handshake and encrypted storage) can develop a boot-handshake failure causing a no-boot condition that looks like a dead MacBook but is actually a recoverable firmware/IC issue. The PMIC (power-management IC — the chip that routes voltage rails to the SOC and peripherals) can fail after a surge event. USB-C / Thunderbolt port soldering fatigue causes charging-drop or no-data symptoms on heavy-use MacBooks.
M1 MacBook Air specific: the most common M1 Air failure we see is the keyboard ribbon flex cable (a known design fault on early M1 units where the flex routing causes repetitive strain) — this requires a full keyboard assembly replacement, not a single-key fix. M2/M3 MacBook Pro 14″/16″ specific: the HDMI port and SD-card slot circuitry can fail after physical stress; we resolder or replace the daughterboard carrying those ports.
Visit ₹149 confirms exact quote. We do not substitute a full board when a component repair is possible — chip-level recovery often costs a fraction of a board swap.
One workshop, genuinely independent, doing MacBook chip-level work since 2007.
Our workshop is on MG Road, Secunderabad — all diagnosis happens here, in-house, not farmed out to third parties. When we quote a repair, the same technician who diagnosed it carries it out. MacBook makes up a significant share of our monthly repair volume across all brands.
Doorstep pickup and drop covers all 52 Hyderabad zones: Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kukatpally, KPHB, Secunderabad, Begumpet, and 44 more. For MacBook owners outside Hyderabad — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Delhi, or anywhere else in India — prepaid courier to our Secunderabad workshop works well. We assess on arrival, call with the quote, repair, and courier back. Same-state India couriers typically add 2–4 days transit each way.
We are an independent workshop, not an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP). What that means in practice: (1) we work on out-of-warranty MacBooks daily — especially units 3+ years old where AppleCare has expired; (2) we do component-level board work that AASPs typically decline, instead quoting a full assembly replacement; (3) we publish repair ranges openly before you book. For MacBooks still under valid AppleCare, the AASP is the right first call. For everything out of warranty, we save most customers 40–70% compared to AASP assembly-swap quotes.
