2007
K. Bhikshapathi founds Laptop Repair World as a small workshop on M.G. Road, Secunderabad. The promise: fast, honest, and caring — every device treated like family’s.
2010
First IT-corridor doorstep visits to Madhapur and HITEC City — a response to engineers and creatives who couldn’t spare a half-day at an authorised service centre.
2013
Expanded into MacBook chip-level repair (component-level — fixing the failed individual part on the board, not replacing the whole motherboard) diagnostics — including liquid damage rescue and logic-board repair. Few shops in Hyderabad were doing this; we made it a core specialty.
2018
Crossed the 25,000-repair milestone. Added free pickup & delivery for customers outside our 5km core zone.
2020
During lockdown, our doorstep service kept Hyderabad’s remote workforce online. Apple silicon (M1) lands — we re-train the team on T2/M-series board work.
2023
Launched Express 1-Hour Doorstep Service. Most screen, battery, keyboard, and charger fits now done same-visit.
Today
Over 1 Lakh+ devices repaired. One Secunderabad store + 50+ doorstep zones across Hyderabad & Secunderabad. 11 laptop brands plus projectors. Same founder. Same promise.
When I opened Laptop Repair World, I set out to build a service every customer could trust — fast, honest, and genuinely caring. Every device that comes through our doors is treated as if it belonged to our own family.
