Contact LRW first · Workshop assessment if needed · Quote before repair
When an LG won’t respond to the power button, it’s usually the switch itself, the ribbon flex, or a stuck reset trace — not the motherboard. We diagnose at the button-side first to save you the deeper repair.
If workshop assessment is needed, LRW will share intake details for tracked shipment to the verified Secunderabad workshop. Quote, timing, part availability and courier terms are confirmed after assessment and approval. Read full ship guide →

Namaskaram. Warangal is Telangana's second-largest city, home to nearly 800,000 people and a significant educational and industrial hub. NIT Warangal, Kakatiya University, and several regional engineering colleges give the city one of Telangana's densest student laptop populations outside Hyderabad. The city's handloom and weaving industry is increasingly computerised at the management level, and a growing government administrative workforce adds to device demand. NIT students know the particular frustration of a laptop failing a week before a project review — and the local repair shop not being able to handle chip-level work. For motherboard repairs, screen replacements on premium devices, or data recovery, Laptop Repair World in Secunderabad is the quality benchmark. Courier your device or visit our workshop at MG Road, Secunderabad. Call +91 7702503336.
Warangal shares Telangana's interior climate: hot summers above 42 degrees, a monsoon from June to October, and a dry winter. The city's industrial and agricultural surroundings mean fine particulate is airborne for most of the year, and devices used in homes near the outer zones accumulate internal dust quickly. Power quality in Warangal, while improved, still has more fluctuation than Hyderabad, and surge-related charging circuit damage is a recurring repair issue. Extended power cuts during summer force users to rely more heavily on battery, accelerating degradation over time.
Namaste. Warangal knows what it means when an NIT Warangal student before project submissions or a Hanamkonda commercial-zone trader running billing software faces an LG laptop that won't cooperate — near Hanamkonda market and NIT Warangal campus, that device is how the working day gets done. Lg Laptop units circulating here show three recurring fault patterns: LG gram 14 display backlight flickering from eDP cable micro-fractures; LG gram 17 battery capacity drop below 60% within 18 months of daily use; and LG gram motherboard Wi-Fi card failures in high-interference office environments. None of these warrant a gamble on an unverified local shop working without quality-tested parts for LG laptops. At 150 km from the verified Secunderabad workshop, Warangal customers can drop the LG laptop directly at Flat 115, Tirupati Complex, Opp. Paradise, M.G. Road, Secunderabad, Telangana 500003 or request intake pickup — Assessment-led diagnosis is standard for devices received before noon. Every repair comes with a Warranty Terms In Quote, ₹149 diagnostic charge, and a Quote before repair guarantee — backed by 1 Lakh+ repairs at Laptop Repair World since 2007.
LG Gram owners most commonly report the power button as physically stuck in a slightly depressed position, causing the laptop to power-cycle or return to sleep immediately after waking, or as intermittently unresponsive requiring multiple presses. The Gram's magnesium chassis has a flush power button design with minimal travel, and even a small debris particle under the keycap can reduce effective actuation. We remove the button cap, clean the contact dome and surrounding keycap channel, and test the switch continuity. On LG Gram models where the power button is a standalone physical switch rather than a keyboard-row key, the flex cable connecting it to the EC occasionally develops a hairline break near the PCB-side connector after the base panel is repeatedly serviced. If the cable is at fault, we replace it. Pricing for LG power-button repair runs Rs 600 to Rs 2,000. The repair is typically completed Assessment-led.
