Contact LRW first · Workshop assessment if needed · Quote before repair
A cracked or flexing LG palmrest doesn’t just look bad — it stresses the keyboard and the motherboard underneath. We swap to a genuine palmrest and refit the keyboard + trackpad + fingerprint reader.
If workshop assessment is needed, LRW will share intake details for tracked shipment to the verified Secunderabad workshop. Quote, timing, part availability and courier terms are confirmed after assessment and approval. Read full ship guide →

Namaskaram. Warangal is Telangana's second-largest city, home to nearly 800,000 people and a significant educational and industrial hub. NIT Warangal, Kakatiya University, and several regional engineering colleges give the city one of Telangana's densest student laptop populations outside Hyderabad. The city's handloom and weaving industry is increasingly computerised at the management level, and a growing government administrative workforce adds to device demand. NIT students know the particular frustration of a laptop failing a week before a project review — and the local repair shop not being able to handle chip-level work. For motherboard repairs, screen replacements on premium devices, or data recovery, Laptop Repair World in Secunderabad is the quality benchmark. Courier your device or visit our workshop at MG Road, Secunderabad. Call +91 7702503336.
Warangal shares Telangana's interior climate: hot summers above 42 degrees, a monsoon from June to October, and a dry winter. The city's industrial and agricultural surroundings mean fine particulate is airborne for most of the year, and devices used in homes near the outer zones accumulate internal dust quickly. Power quality in Warangal, while improved, still has more fluctuation than Hyderabad, and surge-related charging circuit damage is a recurring repair issue. Extended power cuts during summer force users to rely more heavily on battery, accelerating degradation over time.
Namaste. Warangal knows what it means when an NIT Warangal student before project submissions or a Hanamkonda commercial-zone trader running billing software faces an LG laptop that won't cooperate — near Hanamkonda market and NIT Warangal campus, that device is how the working day gets done. Lg Laptop units circulating here show three recurring fault patterns: LG gram 14 display backlight flickering from eDP cable micro-fractures; LG gram 17 battery capacity drop below 60% within 18 months of daily use; and LG gram motherboard Wi-Fi card failures in high-interference office environments. None of these warrant a gamble on an unverified local shop working without quality-tested parts for LG laptops. At 150 km from the verified Secunderabad workshop, Warangal customers can drop the LG laptop directly at Flat 115, Tirupati Complex, Opp. Paradise, M.G. Road, Secunderabad, Telangana 500003 or request intake pickup — Assessment-led diagnosis is standard for devices received before noon. Every repair comes with a Warranty Terms In Quote, ₹149 diagnostic charge, and a Quote before repair guarantee — backed by 1 Lakh+ repairs at Laptop Repair World since 2007.
LG Gram 14 and Gram 17 palmrests use a nano-silica glass fiber composite — extremely light but susceptible to surface scuffs and corner chips from edge impacts. The Gram 16 2-in-1 palmrest around the hinge spine is only 2.5 mm thick and cracks when the machine is closed onto a hard surface at an angle. LG Gram SuperSlim (2023) has a machined aluminum palmrest that scratches and develops micro-facets at the thumb-contact zone. Bench assessment distinguishes cosmetic surface damage from structural damage affecting the keyboard mount or ZIF routing. Composite Gram units with structural damage receive a top-case replacement. Aluminum SuperSlim units with cosmetic damage receive a refinish assessment. ZIF cable paths are re-verified after any top-case swap. Pricing band: ₹2,000 – ₹6,500 depending on model variant. LG Gram parts have longer lead times than mainstream brands — quoted explicitly before confirming repair. Turnaround: 1–3 days. Warranty Terms In Quote. Quote before repair.
