Xiaomi RedmiBook Power Button Fix in Hyderabad

The Redmibook power button on most recent models is integrated with the fingerprint sensor — a single SMD package soldered to the keyboard deck PCB. Failure modes include: tactile dome collapse (button press registers nothing), fingerprint sensor firmware corruption (button works but biometric unlock fails), and flex-cable delamination between the button PCB and mainboard (button unresponsive but pressing the corner of the lid near the hinge sometimes triggers a ghost-press). Xiaomi EC logs record every power-button event; we read these to determine whether the button is physically sending a signal that the EC ignores, or not sending one at all.

We read EC event log first to confirm whether the button is signalling. Flex-cable delamination is fixed by reseating and securing with adhesive. Tactile dome failure requires keyboard-deck PCB replacement. Fingerprint firmware is reflashed via Redmi Book Manager update utility. Final test: power on/off 10 times and biometric unlock verification.
