Xiaomi Mi Notebook Internal Cleaning in Hyderabad

Inside the Xiaomi Mi Notebook, a 5–8 mm gap between the fan inlet and the base panel acts as a dust-trap. In Hyderabad’s construction-heavy environment, fine particulate and cotton fibre pack the fin stack within 12–18 months, raising idle CPU temperatures by 15–20°C. The first visible symptom is louder fan noise; the underlying problem is a thermal environment that ages the battery, CPU solder joints, and electrolytic capacitors faster than normal. Thermal paste between the CPU die and heat-pipe also dries and cracks after two Hyderabad summers, adding another 8–10°C on top of the dust-induced rise.

We photograph the dust level on arrival for the customer’s reference. The heat-pipe and fan are fully removed and cleaned with compressed air and a soft brush; the fan blades are wiped with IPA. Fresh premium thermal compound (Shin-Etsu X-23 or equivalent) is applied. Mi PC Manager temperature readings are compared pre/post: customers typically see a 20–35°C peak-CPU drop and noticeably quieter fan operation.
