The Samsung Galaxy Book power button on most recent models is integrated with the fingerprint sensor — a single SMD package soldered to the keyboard deck PCB. Failure modes include: tactile dome collapse (button press registers nothing), fingerprint sensor firmware corruption (button works but biometric unlock fails), and flex-cable delamination between the button PCB and mainboard (button unresponsive but pressing the corner of the lid near the hinge sometimes triggers a ghost-press).
