The Raider and Titan have dual M.2 slots capable of supporting two 4TB Gen 4 drives for a combined 8TB. MSI’s Dragon Center has a “Storage” page that can enable RAID-0 across both M.2 slots for maximum read bandwidth — but RAID-0 means losing all data if either drive fails, which is a risk most users don’t appreciate. The Stealth series uses a single M.2 slot (2230 form factor on 14" variant, 2280 on 16"/17") — note the 2230 drives for the 14" Stealth are shorter and not interchangeable with the 2280 drives used in the 16" Stealth. PCIe Gen 4 performance requires a matching Gen 4 drive to realise the 7,000 MB/s potential; installing a Gen 3 drive in a Gen 4 slot works but caps at Gen 3 speeds.
