A cracked or flexing MSI palmrest doesn’t just look bad — it stresses the keyboard and the motherboard underneath. We swap to a genuine palmrest and refit the keyboard + trackpad + fingerprint reader.
If workshop assessment is needed, LRW will share intake details for tracked shipment to the verified Secunderabad workshop. Quote, timing, part availability and courier terms are confirmed after assessment and approval. Read full ship guide →

Namaskaram. Warangal is Telangana's second-largest city, home to nearly 800,000 people and a significant educational and industrial hub. NIT Warangal, Kakatiya University, and several regional engineering colleges give the city one of Telangana's densest student laptop populations outside Hyderabad. The city's handloom and weaving industry is increasingly computerised at the management level, and a growing government administrative workforce adds to device demand. NIT students know the particular frustration of a laptop failing a week before a project review — and the local repair shop not being able to handle chip-level work. For motherboard repairs, screen replacements on premium devices, or data recovery, Laptop Repair World in Secunderabad is the quality benchmark. Courier your device or visit our workshop at MG Road, Secunderabad. Call +91 7702503336.
Warangal shares Telangana's interior climate: hot summers above 42 degrees, a monsoon from June to October, and a dry winter. The city's industrial and agricultural surroundings mean fine particulate is airborne for most of the year, and devices used in homes near the outer zones accumulate internal dust quickly. Power quality in Warangal, while improved, still has more fluctuation than Hyderabad, and surge-related charging circuit damage is a recurring repair issue. Extended power cuts during summer force users to rely more heavily on battery, accelerating degradation over time.
MSI gaming laptops in Warangal appear among NIT Warangal CS and ECE students, the Hanamkonda gaming-cafe community, and content creators near the Hunter Road commercial belt. GF63 Thin and Katana GF76 are the typical models. Fault patterns from Warangal: MSI GF63 thermal compound breakdown from Telangana's summer ambient heat at 44°C in student hostel environments without consistent AC, BTY-M6L battery swelling in Katana units on continuous AC supply, and GF63 plastic hinge stress crack from campus carry. MSI's Warangal service routes to Hyderabad. Couriering to LRW at Flat 115, Tirupati Complex, MG Road, Secunderabad 500003 is the most direct option for Warangal customers. MSI Stealth 15M and Stealth 16 palmrests use brushed aluminum that develops deep micro-scratches from fingernail contact due to the thin anodizing layer. MSI Raider GE77 and Vector GP76 palmrests are ABS plastic with rubber inserts — the rubber trim separates from the chassis frame after heat cycling, and the underlying plastic cracks at the USB-A port opening under cable-strain. MSI Crosshair 15 and GS series palmrests sometimes crack at the hinge spine mount, a stress-concentration point for the triple-hinge mechanism. Bench assessment: surface condition, hinge mount structural check, USB-A port opening crack extent, ZIF routing integrity. Aluminum Stealth units with cosmetic damage receive refinish assessment; structural damage requires top-case replacement. Raider and Vector plastic units with separated rubber trim get adhesive rebond or full top-case swap depending on crack extent. Pricing band: ₹1,800 – ₹5,500. Turnaround: same day for minor repair; next day for full top-case. Warranty Terms In Quote. Quote before repair.
