A cracked or flexing Microsoft Surface palmrest doesn’t just look bad — it stresses the keyboard and the motherboard underneath. We swap to a genuine palmrest and refit the keyboard + trackpad + fingerprint reader.
If workshop assessment is needed, LRW will share intake details for tracked shipment to the verified Secunderabad workshop. Quote, timing, part availability and courier terms are confirmed after assessment and approval. Read full ship guide →

Namaskaram. Warangal is Telangana's second-largest city, home to nearly 800,000 people and a significant educational and industrial hub. NIT Warangal, Kakatiya University, and several regional engineering colleges give the city one of Telangana's densest student laptop populations outside Hyderabad. The city's handloom and weaving industry is increasingly computerised at the management level, and a growing government administrative workforce adds to device demand. NIT students know the particular frustration of a laptop failing a week before a project review — and the local repair shop not being able to handle chip-level work. For motherboard repairs, screen replacements on premium devices, or data recovery, Laptop Repair World in Secunderabad is the quality benchmark. Courier your device or visit our workshop at MG Road, Secunderabad. Call +91 7702503336.
Warangal shares Telangana's interior climate: hot summers above 42 degrees, a monsoon from June to October, and a dry winter. The city's industrial and agricultural surroundings mean fine particulate is airborne for most of the year, and devices used in homes near the outer zones accumulate internal dust quickly. Power quality in Warangal, while improved, still has more fluctuation than Hyderabad, and surge-related charging circuit damage is a recurring repair issue. Extended power cuts during summer force users to rely more heavily on battery, accelerating degradation over time.
Microsoft Surface machines in Warangal are institutional — NIT Warangal research faculty on Surface Pro, and the Kakatiya Medical College administration offices that receive Surface devices through AP/TS government procurement. Consumer Surface purchase is negligible in Tier 2 Telangana given the price-to-service-availability ratio. Three fault patterns recur in Warangal Microsoft Surface intake: The Telangana heat and monsoon humidity with red-soil dust creates specific wear patterns: Microsoft Surface Pro kickstand hinges seize from dust ingress; Surface keyboards develop sticky keys from ambient humidity; USB-C charging ports corrode in coastal climates within 12-18 months. Microsoft Surface has no manufacturer repair network in India outside a handful of metro reseller points; out-of-warranty Surface repair is almost exclusively courier-to-specialist. Laptop Repair World has handled Microsoft Surface laptop repairs since 2007 — 1 Lakh+ repairs completed — covering motherboard diagnosis, display replacement, charging system repair, and battery service using genuine or OEM-equivalent parts. Being within Hyderabad's service zone, Warangal customers can arrange intake pickup — no long-distance courier needed. WhatsApp +91 7702503336, describe the fault, and our team dispatches from Flat 115, Tirupati Complex, Opp. Paradise, M.G. Road, Secunderabad, Telangana 500003. Diagnosis: ₹149. Quote before repair. Warranty Terms In Quote on completed repairs.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 4, 5, and 6 use an Alcantara fabric palmrest that absorbs oils, develops permanent staining, and pills after 18–24 months of daily use. The aluminum-variant Surface Laptop 4 and 5 have a hard-anodized palmrest that scuffs along the thumb-contact line. Surface Pro 9 and 10 type covers, which serve as the keyboard/palmrest surface, develop fabric delamination at the folio-fold line after 2+ years of repeated opening. Bench assessment: fabric condition and stain extent, structural chassis check for underlying impact damage, keyboard connector continuity. Alcantara palmrest replacement requires a full top-case assembly swap on Surface Laptop units — the fabric is bonded to the chassis shell. Aluminum variants can be assessed for refinish vs. replacement. Type Cover delamination is handled as a separate accessory replacement. Pricing band: ₹3,500 – ₹10,000 for Surface Laptop top-case; type cover separately quoted. Turnaround: 1–2 days. Warranty Terms In Quote. Quote before repair.
