Contact LRW first · Workshop assessment if needed · Quote before repair
Black screen on a Honor can be the panel, the cable, the GPU rail, or the discrete graphics chip — four very different price points. An external monitor test rules out the panel before we open anything.
If workshop assessment is needed, LRW will share intake details for tracked shipment to the verified Secunderabad workshop. Quote, timing, part availability and courier terms are confirmed after assessment and approval. Read full ship guide →

Namaskaram. Warangal is Telangana's second-largest city, home to nearly 800,000 people and a significant educational and industrial hub. NIT Warangal, Kakatiya University, and several regional engineering colleges give the city one of Telangana's densest student laptop populations outside Hyderabad. The city's handloom and weaving industry is increasingly computerised at the management level, and a growing government administrative workforce adds to device demand. NIT students know the particular frustration of a laptop failing a week before a project review — and the local repair shop not being able to handle chip-level work. For motherboard repairs, screen replacements on premium devices, or data recovery, Laptop Repair World in Secunderabad is the quality benchmark. Courier your device or visit our workshop at MG Road, Secunderabad. Call +91 7702503336.
Warangal shares Telangana's interior climate: hot summers above 42 degrees, a monsoon from June to October, and a dry winter. The city's industrial and agricultural surroundings mean fine particulate is airborne for most of the year, and devices used in homes near the outer zones accumulate internal dust quickly. Power quality in Warangal, while improved, still has more fluctuation than Hyderabad, and surge-related charging circuit damage is a recurring repair issue. Extended power cuts during summer force users to rely more heavily on battery, accelerating degradation over time.
Honor MagicBook laptops in Warangal reached the budget-AMD segment at Kakatiya University and the Hanamkonda-area engineering colleges — students who needed Ryzen performance under ₹50,000 and chose Honor over Lenovo for the extra storage in the base configuration. Three fault patterns recur in Warangal Honor intake: MagicBook 14 keyboard key separation under sustained daily typing; MagicBook Pro thermal throttle during extended multi-app workloads; and MagicBook screen backlight flickering from a loosened ribbon cable. Local conditions contribute to wear — warangal shares telangana's interior climate: hot summers above 42 degrees, a monsoon from june to october, and a dry winter. Honor MagicBook 14 and MagicBook Pro owners describe the no-display issue as a laptop that powers on with the keyboard backlight illuminating but the screen remaining entirely dark, or as a screen that works intermittently and goes black when the lid is moved to certain angles. The intermittent angle-dependent failure on MagicBook models is almost always the eDP cable developing a partial break at the hinge flex point, which is a structural weak point in the slim-hinge design Honor uses on the 14-inch chassis. We test external monitor output first to isolate the GPU path from the LCD assembly. If the external display is functional, we inspect and replace the eDP cable. Panel failures on MagicBook are less common but do occur on units that have been under lid-torque stress. We source replacement eDP panels matched to the MagicBook model's resolution and backlight specification. Pricing for Honor no-display repair ranges from Rs 1,000 for a cable replacement to Rs 6,500 for a full panel swap. Most cases complete within one to two business days.
