Motherboard chip-level repair around the Xeon socket requires understanding different power rail topology compared to Core-series boards — the VR (voltage regulator) stage runs more phases and at different thresholds.
The RTX A-series (A2000, A3000, A4000, A5000, A6000 in mobile) is NVIDIA’s professional workstation GPU. It carries ISV-certified drivers for AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Maya and similar software — drivers that the GeForce gaming line does not support. The RTX A5000 in the Precision 7670, for example, carries 16 GB GDDR6 ECC VRAM. A GeForce RTX 4070 might fit physically, but the ISV certifications, ECC VRAM and professional driver support would be lost.
